… is here again as the four lads from Liverpool sang in a Chritmas message to their fans way back in the sixties. This season is always filled with hope and expectation and that is where some people go wrong. I remember getting slightly melancholy as a child during this time of year. Growing up in a working class neighborhood (at best) my desire for a “magical” Christmas, the way it was displayed on TV and movies never really came to be. As I grew older and wiser I realized that the magic of the Holidays is being in the moment and appreciating friends and family and not having any expectations. As the Bhuddists say “expectations are the source of disappointment”.
Merry Now Christmas
