Times Square

With this series, Times Square, I want to construct a mythical place that may have a visible relationship to Times Square but really exists only within my head. It is not really geographically locatable.  If you went looking for it physically you would not find it. It is a world within and only I have the means of getting there. I make no pretense of documentation. Like Moriyama’s Shinjuku, it is gritty and sensual.

Previously he was the head photographer at The New York Public Library and he was a photo editor at Natural History magazine from 1992 - 2000. He currently lives in Maplewood, NJ.
