What is the value of a photograph? What does it mean to be a photographer in the year 2022? I still struggle constantly with these questions. Any artist who practices their art without questioning what they are doing at every step is doing something wrong or at least living superficially. Back in November of 2020 I stepped away from this blog and now in 2022 I am back to continue my dalliance with photography and questions of image making.

He is presently the Head of Digital Imaging at Columbia University in the City of New York. He is available for digital imaging consultation. Previously he was the head photographer at The New York Public Library and he was a photo editor at Natural History magazine from 1992 - 2000. He currently lives in Maplewood, NJ.
