You should always re-evaluate your process even when you think you are in the middle of a series. Especially when you are in the middle of something. With my current project, Reflected Landscapes, I thought I would be getting up close and just photographing the reflection in the car window. But then I took a step back while looking through the viewfinder one day (Fuij X-T3 if you really must know). I really liked what I saw and so I have, what I hope is, an enhancement to my original idea. Ideas evolve. Now the series might encompass the idea of man’s encroachment into the natural world. Although is there really such a divide? All the world is the natural world; we have just manipulated it to an extreme to the point where we don’t recognize or are appalled by parts of it. There is just as much “nature” in an urban environment as there is in the suburbs or in rural places.
