My family and I are still recovering from August. We vacationed in San Juan, Puerto Rico (see photo above)

but we all caught a viral infection that knocked us out for a couple of weeks and then during this we get hit

by Hurricane Irene. There was lots of damage.But we are getting back on our feet and I am starting to try to

catch up on everything including restarting this blog. What the heck. I also need to get working on the new

committee I am chairing at Soho Photo. It's called Conversations Among Photographers and will be a periodic

gather of photographers for some coffee (or wine) and some back and forth on topics that are on our minds or in

the news/media. First thing I want to do is send out an informal questionnaire to get a feeling for what sort of

topics or activities will be of interest to the members of Soho Photo.
