Happy New Year everyone.
I had the same Rolleiflex Twin Lens camera for almost twenty years and I had a Leica for 10 years before I switched to digital. And then it seemed I had to upgrade my camera every 3 years. I am getting tired of spending Money on cameras. And so recently I pulled out my old Hasselblad and dusted it off and even got a new lens for it (yeah, I know). For 2020 my resolution is to shoot film with my Hasselblad and maybe my Nikon F100 (still a great camera). There is something about working with the Hasselblad; putting it on a tripod, framing, contemplating the image, depth of field, focus, light. Then the developing of the film, which I have always loved. It is very zen like. I was never a great darkroom technician and so I will scan and print the images on my Epson printer.
For most of 2020 I will put up images as they are completed. I am thinking at the end I will make an issue of FOS devoted to the images.
Here’s to 2020!
